Overview

Anthem Biosciences offers a wide variety of services in Discovery Biology for outsourcing needs of virtual, small to midsize biotech, traditional pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies. The services that have been successfully undertaken, range from early preclinical investigative research to validation of drug targets.

Over the years, Anthem has contributed to the progress of our clients by the dedicated effort of our well qualified scientists and support staff. A number of our scientists have been trained in biotech industry, and in academia from around the globe including India, Europe, US, and Singapore. Across the board, our scientists have expertise in medicinal chemistry, methods in molecular biology, microbiology, protein purification, In- vitro assay development and optimization, cell biology, cell culture, imaging, immunology, and histology. In addition we have experienced researchers, pharmacologists and veterinarians who take care of the drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK), toxicology, pharmacology and veterinarian services. This group has worked in various drug discovery projects in diverse therapeutic areas such as oncology, virology, immunology, infectious diseases, metabolic disorders, and neurobiology. Anthem's diverse experiences range from early In- vitro and cell based research to various established animal models, DMPK, and toxicology. This helps us perform standard protocols effectively, and also offer customized solutions to complex projects in consultation with our clients. As a result, Anthem has successfully completed several short term and multi year integrated drug discovery projects for our clients on time.

The Discovery biology group at Anthem Biosciences has contributed to most aspects of preclinical early research in the drug discovery pipeline. Our work is supported by experienced QC/QA personnel that are proficient in regulatory guidelines in Asia, US, and Europe. Many client molecules for which we provided data have made it to clinical trials in the US.We also offer assistance in filing an IND. We strive to be a seamless extension of your team.

At Anthem, our facility is state of the art, and sufficiently equipped to handle most projects. We have access to world renowned institutes, and hospitals with whom we have a collaborative association to perform specialized studies if needed.

Anthem has a state-of-the art animal facility equipped to house immunocompromised animals, genetic animal models, rodents and rabbits. All experimental procedures involving animals are approved by the Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC), under the supervision of the Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision on Experiments on Animals (CPCSEA).
