Chairman and Managing Director

Mr. Ajay Bhardwaj is the Chairman, Managing Director and the Chief Executive Officer of our Company. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Delhi) and a Master’s degree of Science in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College. He was previously associated with Max India Limited and as President, marketing & technical services at Biocon Limited. He has over 40 years of experience in life sciences, contract research, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Dr. Ganesh Sambasivam is a Whole-time Director and the Chief Scientific Officer of our Company. He holds a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Chemistry from the University of Madras, a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Pune and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Pune. He was previously associated for more than a decade with Syngene International Limited as the Chief Scientific Officer. He has more than three decades of experience in process R&D.

Mr. K Ravindra Chandrappa is a Whole-time Director and the Chief Operating Officer, of our Company. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Bangalore University and was previously associated with Cipla, Hikal and Biocon. He is responsible for leading the end-to-end operations including research and development, manufacturing, quality and regulatory compliance management. He has more than three decades of experience in the field of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry along with experience in managing large scale operations, driving process efficiencies and implementing global quality standards.

Mr. Ravikant Uppal is a Non-Executive Independent Director of our Company. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where he has been honoured as a Distinguished Alumni and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration & Management from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Additionally, he is also a Graduate of The Wharton Advanced Programme from the University of Pennsylvania. He has over four decades of experience in business administration. He served as the MD & Group CEO of Jindal Steel & Power Limited, Whole-time Director of L&T Group Board and MD & CEO (Power) at L&T, held various positions in ABB Group, and is credited as being the Founding MD of Volvo in India. Mr. Uppal has worked in diverse roles in Europe, Middle East, North Africa and South East Asia. He has been on the board of several companies in India and Europe including BAE (UK); Actis Private Equity, Riverina Bio Energy (Australia), and TCI Srei Finance. He has also been on the Board of Governors of the IIM, Bangalore.

Mr. Subramanian Madhavan is a Non-Executive Independent Director of our Company. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and is also a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has more than four decade of experience in Accountancy, Economics, Finance, Law, Information Technology, Human Resources, Risk Management, Business Management and Banking. He has also served as the President Northern Region, Indo-American Chamber of Commerce and has been a past Co-Chairman, Taxation Committee, ASSOCHAM. He is a member of the Institute of Directors, the All India Management Association and the Delhi Management Association. He has been a past board member of HCL Technologies Ltd and GSK Consumer Products Ltd. He is presently an independent director on the boards of ICICI Bank, Sterlite Technologies Limited, P&G Health Limited and Life Style International Private Limited.

Mr. Ramadurai is a Non-Executive Independent Director of our Company. He holds a Bachelor’s degree of Technology in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He has over 35 years of experience in business administration. He was previously associated with the TVS Suzuki Limited, The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, Ashirvad Pipes Private Limited and 3M India Limited. He is a 30+ year veteran with 3M, with a uniquely global business and cross-cultural leadership perspective, having lived and worked in the US, the Philippines, China and India.

Ms. Shubha Kulkarni is a Non-Executive Independent Woman Director of our Company. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (Hons.) from Delhi University and a Master’s degree in Human Resources from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, where she also received a gold medal. She was previously associated with AXA Technology Services India Private Limited and Perot Systems Technology Services. She is a director at Altissimo Consulting Services, where she currently leads a team dedicated to providing HR consulting, leadership coaching, and mentoring across various industries. She has over 25 years of experience in the field of human resources.

Mr. Satish Chander Subbanna is a Non-Executive Nominee Director of our Company. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He has been associated with True North for over two decades and leads True North’s investments in healthcare and life sciences sectors.
